South Sudan revisited

In 1962, Jørgen Leth went to South Sudan and registered the intense ethnical tensions already then unnervingly visible, yet still not internationally recognized. Back then, Jørgen Leth reported back to his employer, the leftist newspaper Dagbladet Aktuelt. Now, almost 50 years later, Danish newspaper Information reprints Leth's old articles, supplemented by a brand new commentary by Leth himself, reflecting on South Sudan's newfound independence.
